We are seeking an engaging Director of Commercial Operations to join our dynamic team in Menlo Park, CA. Antheia is at an incredibly exciting time in its history as it nears the commercialization of its first products, and this role will play a crucial part in achieving those goals. You will oversee all global geographies and will have the opportunity to develop an infrastructure that will support ambitious growth in years and decades to come. Collaborating with an impressive leadership team, you will own sales development and marketing support, order pack preparation and monitoring, technical support, regulatory affairs coordination, and logistics management. With endless opportunities for cross functional collaboration, you will coordinate diverse customer requests, using a wide resource base spread across multiple internal and external teams. Responsibilities:

Lead, design and own the company’s end-to-end sales and operation planning (S&OP), coordinating efforts across Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Product Teams and ensuring alignment of company goals and objectives
Coordinate forecasting and demand planning collaboratively with Operations, Manufacturing and Finance Teams
Provide a first-class response to customer technical sales inquiries, which will include assimilating sufficient information from the customer to process the inquiry further
Architect and implement the company’s CRM system; ensuring efficient integration with the organization’s ERP and wider IT infrastructure
Manage orders in ERP and collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure accuracy and verify product availability  
Monitor progress of customer orders in line with required customer delivery date and inform customer of any changes to schedule
Issue confidentiality templates and monitor customer execution
Coordinate customer regulatory affairs queries with respective RA teams and ensure timely delivery of customer support as needed
Develop and maintain product fact sheets and technical notes to support external customer engagement work  
Create and maintain marketing materials (e.g., deck, product brochures, event materials, swag)
Orchestrate and coordinate customer trade fairs including meeting arrangements, booth design and build, company and product promotion, etc.  

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry, plus Bachelor’s degree or above
A demonstrated understanding of commercial operations scaling in the drug industry, product approval process, and the supply chain as it relates to active pharmaceutical ingredients and pre-curser materials
Positive attitude with the motivation, determination, and business acumen to manage complex issues and environments
Experience with executing marketing strategies and tactics, as well as market research & analysis
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and dynamic startup environment
Knowledge of commercial compliance, laws and regulations that govern promotional and non-promotional activities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Professional proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn new software packages, such as SAP or Salesforce

Nice to haves (but not required):

Degree in a technical discipline  
Expertise in analytical chemistry and an understanding of synthetic biology
Experience with SAP

Additional Information:
Full-time base salary range of $185,000 - $215,000, plus an annual bonus potential and equity opportunities.
